• What is the Tai Chi / Taiji?
o The Tai Chi is a cosmological term for the ‘Supreme Ultimate’ state
• What is the Chi?
o It is the energy flow that is constantly moving and changing life force that we feel around us making us feel good or bad in a certain location. The chi should be flowing gently throughout one’s environment. It can have a negative effect on surroundings when it gets stuck or blocked.
• What is the Yin-Yang?
o The Yin-yang is used to describe how seemingly disjunct or opposing forces are interconnected and interdependent in the natural world, giving rise to each other in turn. It represents complementary opposites within a greater whole.
• What is the Bagua?
o The bagua represents the opposing forces of Yin and Yang, which gives an ideal state, wherein, everything should be in balance. The bagua is a map intended to be used over land, in one’s home, office, or desk to find areas lacking good chi which may need enhancing in life or environment. The map has different sections that correspond to different aspects in life: fame, relationship/marriage, children/creativity, helpful people/travel, career, inner knowledge, family/health, and, wealth/blessings.
• What is the Tai Chi watch collection?
o The I Ching relies on the significance of the ancient symbol of the bagua which emphasizes the eight mother forms of the universe: the sky, the lake, thunder, fire, earth, mountain, water, and the wind. These eight trigrams are shortened to the symbol in the middle of the bagua known as the yin and yang. Inspired by the I Ching, The Tai Chi watches wish to inspire and bring good luck to the people who would wear it.
o The Tai Chi watches guides the different chi that flows in the different aspects in our lives, fame, relationships, creativity, travel, career, knowledge, health, and wealth in order to achieve the ultimate balance and inner peace.
